This is your first look at the all-new Mercedes Viano, or at lest its concept version that is almost certainly headed to the Frankfurt Motor Show next month. These sketches show details of the exterior as well as the interior. The car itself is currently under testing in Southern Europe.
So what we see here is Mercedes-Benz design language adapted by a van. The headlights and the grille resemble the rest of the current range, while the new front bumper gives the Viano a very nice and chiseled look that is very un-van-like.
The flared wheel arches, large wheels, and the fancy interior with all that wood and leather are all signs that these sketches belong to the concept version of the car. But regardless of the materials and some of the showy exterior details, this is what the next Viano will look like.
A rang of four-cylinder diesel engines teamed up with the 7G-tronic transmission is confirmed for the new Mercedes Viano, but no electric or hybrid version is being considered for the time being.
