Hennessey Performance, the blue collar American tuner, is venturing into prestigious super car tuning business, unveiling their heavily modified Ferrari 458 Spider at Concorso Italiano. The car is fitted with a twin-turbo system that boosts the output of its V8 engine to 738 horsepower.
The twin ball bearing turbochargers are only part of what makes that colossal power. Hennessey’s 458 also features upgraded fuel system, steel inlet piping, dual wastegates, intercoolers, steel exhausts, high-performance air induction system, and HPE control unit. The result is 738 horsepower and 532 lb-ft torque.
No wonder then the car is capable of extraordinary performance with a 0 to 60 mph time of 2.8 seconds and a quarter-mile time of 10.5 seconds at 137 mph.
Hennessey has also upgraded the chassis to cope with the performance of that engine by employing a set of KW adjustable suspension system and 20-inch monoblock wheels. Aerodynamic body kit is currently under development, and will include carbon fiber spoiler, splitter and diffuser. Hennessey can also hook you up with a bespoke interior treatment.
Ferrari 458 twin-turbo kit is priced at $59,995 installed.
