People who buy cars like the Mercedes B-Class usually have no concept of tuning and modification. But Mercedes specialist Carlsson has come up with a treatment for the B-Class that makes it hard to resist. It includes visual, chassis, interior, and performance upgrades.
On the outside, the B gets a very neat and very German styling kit with nicely designed front spoiler, sides skirts, and rear apron, as well as four new tailpipes, side strakes, and a set of Carlsson iconic wheels up to 20-inch big.The chassis tuning which consists of a revised suspension with 30mm lower springs also contributes to the styling by dropping the ride height. Inside the cabin you get the usual treatment of fine leather upholstery, sport alloy pedals, and branded floor mats.
As for the power and performance, Carlsson offers something for every engine in the range. Beginning with the B180, they boost the output from the standard 122 hp to 146 hp. The B200 is next with a bump from 156 hp to 187 hp, and last but not least we have the B250, which is upped from 211 hp to 253 horsepower. The engine package in each case includes the C-tronic CB kit that unlocks the factory ECU and alters the map inside.
