There is a new tuning package for the old Mercedes E500 Coupe, put together by the guys at the M&D Exclusive Carstyling using a fine Prior Design Black Series kit. They have utilized the PD850 treatment to give the E-Coupe a nice look, while squeezing a couple more horses under the bonnet.
The end result is a sweet thing, even though it is a bit too busy in places. The wide body kit gives the car a more prominent stance what with its new fenders and a front spoiler lip painted in red, flared arches, side skirts, a rear diffuser and fancy new tailpipes.
In terms of performance, M&D has gone deep inside the engine bay to increase the output of the car’s meaty V8 motor from 387 horsepower and 530 Nm to 401 horsepower and 560 Nm. And to make the thrill of that extra power more audible, they bolted on a sports exhaust system manufactured by M&D from stainless steel, and fitted it with SL65 AMG tailpipes.
In the chassis department the tuners provided the E500 with a set of 9×20 inches wheels with 235/30R20 on the front and 10.5×20 inches with 285/25R20 Falken FK452 tyres on the rear, and used H&R springs to lower the ride height. Mercedes E500 Coupe by M&D Exclusive also gets a complete LED surroundings illumination / location lighting package, which is not cool to be honest, an AMG steering wheel, and black trimming inside the cabin.
