German tuner of all things Mercedes has developed an interest in older models recently. Having done a nice job on the R171 SLK 55 AMG, they have now turned their attention to the W164 ML500 SUV, and gave it fresh breath of life with a couple of suddle tweaks.
The big old utility Benz still looks surprisingly fresh, and the looks of it are enhanced by MEC Design using the old trick of cutting a few inches form the ride height and bolting on a set of large and shiny wheels.
The guys at MEC are professional though, so they’ve done this the proper way. To lower the car they’ve employed their own ELS lowering module to avoid any compromise on ride comfort while getting the desired visual effect. As for the wheels, the tuner chose a set of 10×22-inch Condeni Series Type „Ultimo“ in satin black, shod with 295 section tires.
They have also fitted the ML500 with a couple of nice extras including a TV module to unlock the TV lock, and a sport steering wheel with carbon accents.
