Boasting a powerful design department led by a genius called Peter Schreyer, Kia tends to bring a new design study concept to every single motoring event they go to. For the all important Frankfurt Motor Show (IAA) they are breaking out the big guns, presenting a daring new B-segment concept car that has style and tenacity.
The as yet unnamed concept car is an urban vehicle that is stylish but tough and robust. As with every new concept by Kia, the car gets its very own design cues. In fact the only thing it shares with other Kias is that front grille that helps you recognize it’s a Kia.
Another interesting thing about the new concept is the compact body which features a mix of contrasting materials. While that is quite intriguing from a styling point of view, it should also mean that it benefits from a host of new materials for lightness and efficiency.
Kia says to consider this car for production they first need to gauge potential customer response during the vehicle’s unveiling in Frankfurt.
