BMW specialist AC Schnitzer becomes the first tuner to present an upgrade package for the new 4 Series F32 Coupe. According to AC, they are planning to improve the car’s “Technic, Sportivity, Aesthetics, Dynamic and Comfort.”
There is no body kit available yet – you have to wait a bit longer for that – but you do get a lot of performance parts to tart up your Bimmer with. The first item on the menu for AC Schnitzer BMW 4 Series is a new set of wheels, and boy do they provide you with choices.
There is a whole range of 18 and 19-inch models available for the 4er, including Type VIII BiColor Black or Silver, Type IV Silver or BiColor Black, Type IV BiColor Black, Type VI BiColor.
After that beings the technical treatment, with height adjustable racing suspension or lowering springs that cut 25mm off the ride height; AC Schnitzer sports rear silencer with two chromed “Racing” tail trims in left / right combination; and the engine tuning kit.
The power kits boost the power of all available engines. The 428i model jumps from 245 hp to 294 hp; the 435i from 306 hp to 360 hp; and 420d from 184 hp to 218 hp.
A full interior package finishes up the program for now. It includes aluminium handbrake handle “Black Line”; gear knob with digital shifting display; leather gear knob, illuminated; aluminium gear knob “Black Line”; aluminium pedal set; foot rest; aluminium cover, “Black Line” for BMW’s own “i-Drive”; and floor mats.
