German tuner CDC Performance announced a new tuning kit for the old Range Rover Sport. They call it the Nighthawk, and it is a widebody kit with 28 carbon fiber parts put together to give the old Sport (so that’s where Gatsby got that expression!) a brutish new look.
The modified bits include the front bumper , side skirts , rear apron with diffuser , roof spoiler , mirrors and, of course, the wide new wheel arches that accommodate a set of 11.0×23-inch CDC wheels with 315/25-23 tires.
The magnificent exterior is complemented with a reworked interior that has black Alcantara headliner. You find the same material on the dashboard, door panels and the trunk, contrasting nicely the Ice White leather that covers the seats, consoles, and part of the steering wheel, which by the way has a very weird shape. Carbon fiber is used for trimming the dashboard, while all the plastic bits are finished in Nero for a classier look. Another nice touch here is the Bali Blue seat belts.
CDC Performance Range Rover Sport is not just about the looks though. They have been busy with the engine as well, boosting the output of that supercharged V8 to 580 hp and 695 Nm, while removing the top speed limiter. The chassis is adjusted accordingly to cope with the newfound performance, and a sport exhaust system is fitted to provide a proper V8 soundtrack.
