General Motors is revealing its newest pickup trucks, the 2015 Chevrolet Silverado HD and the 2015 GC Sierra HD with much pomp and circumstance in the truck-loving state of Texas. The sister trucks are looking pretty good, and the all the numbers about them are also quite bold.

Naturally, the 2015 Silverado HD and Sierra HD come with a lot of new features, including CornerStep rear bumper, EZ Lift and Lower tailgate, standard upper tie-downs and other features that make cargo handling easier.

All models also get standard StabiliTrak with Trailer Sway Control, while diesel models are fitted with integrated cruise control, auto grade braking and diesel exhaust braking. The Duramax turbo diesel and 6.0L gas engine also benefit from enhanced air intake and cooling systems so they can manage to produce full power even under heavy load.

The 2015 Sierra HD, which is the newer and more luxurious one of the two, will go on sale in early 2014 in 2500HD and 3500HD models, and the Sierra Denali HD. Both trucks will be built in Ft. Wayne, Ind. and Flint, Mich.
