German tuning firm Hamann announced its new program for the second-generation BMW X3 F25 models. They have come up with mild styling and chassis upgrades, and ECU kits for all the engines in the range. It is an effort to make the dull X3 a bit more lively.

In the chassis department, Hamann BMW X3 offers sport suspension set with 35mm lower ride height. It improves the car’s road holding, and as for the off-road capabilities, well, the X3 didn’t have much to begin with.

The suspension tweaks become more effective with a set of 9J x 21” ANNIVERSARY Evo with 265/30 ZR21Vredestein Ultrac Vorti R tires. Or, you can opt for the larger 22-icnh version that looks cooler, but may compromise the ride quality.

As for the engine upgrades, Hamann does offer ECU kits even for the smallest diesel engines. But seeing as nobody who buys the 18d model in the first place would ever think about tuning or anything of the sort, let’s check out the most powerful versions. They include the kits for the 35i model that boosts the power from the standard 300 hp to about 350 hp with 450 Nm of torque, and the one for the 35d that increases the standard 309 hp and 630 Nm to a well-rounded 350 bhp and 700 Nm.
