German tuner Kleemann revealed a version of the Mercedes SLS AMG that looks like a standard model on the outside, but in terms of performance blows everything else out of the water. The mighty thing has an incredible top speed of 356 km/h (220 mph).
That is faster than the new McLaren P1, Porsche 98 and LaFerrari, as none of those cars can manage more than 350. And they are all million Euro hyper cars. Keelmann has accomplished a remarkable feat here.
The key to Kleemann Mercedes SLS’ amazing turn of speed is a heavy upgrade package fitted to the car’s 6.2 liter naturally-aspirated M156 AMG V8 engine. The meat of the kit is a supercharger, backed up by a stainless steel exhaust system with bolt-on cat back system, a dual mid-muffler, an “X” section and a remote control flapper, plus other routine upgrades like the software and high performance intakes.
The result is a boost in power from 553 horsepower to a simply colossal 770 horsepower. Add 845 Nm of torque to the mix, and you can go from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.3 seconds, and pass the 200 mark in 9.3. The only downside to this is that you will probably need a new set of tires every week! The standard SLS is notorious for chewing through its tires way too quickly, so you can imagine what this monster would be like.
