Now that NISMO is an official part of Nissan’s operations, we are going to see more and more of their cars getting the in-house tuning treatment. With the new X-Trail, virtual tuners beat Nissan to it, coming up with a preview of what a Nismo’d version of the car might look like.

The car is inspired by NISMO’s current production cars, based on the 370Z and the Juke. Chances are the same sort of styling cues and interior appointment will be used to garnish the X-Trail (Rogue) as well. That means you get revised bumpers with new air intakes and LED lights, sports grille, side skirts, mirror caps, rear apron with sport tailpipes, and probably, a rear spoiler.

Red accenting is also to be found everywhere, as it is NISMO’s signature touch, and when used on a white car like this, makes a big difference in the way the car looks.

2014 Nissan X-Trail Nismo is at still a year off, seeing as the car itself was just unveiled to the public at the Frankfurt Motor Show. It will also get NISMO suspension, wheels, interior, and maybe an engine treatment as well.
