Race the Sun is the name of an interactive video that is supposed to do that by engaging users in a race across wilderness.
As the name suggests, the Range Rover Sport Race the Sun digital experience follows the car’s journey toward the setting sun, during which the performance and versatility of the vehicle are showcased. The video has gaming functionality, meaning viewers can choose how they want to engage with the film by either syncing their smartphones; turning it into a game controller and second screen experience, or by using their computer keyboard. 2014 Range Rover Sport Race the Sun uses WebSocket technology which allows you to sync your device with the film, and even tilt, tap and swipe touchscreens to match the maneuvers of the Range Rover Sport in three distinct gaming experiences that play out in tandem to the dramatic storyline. It also features 360º interior and exterior experience of the Range Rover Sport, which by the way is available in three models: SE, HSE and Supercharged and starts at $63,495.
