Japanese tuner of BMW models, 3D Design, released the first example of their styling kit for the new M6 Gran Coupe. Blessed with natural beauty, the M6 GC becomes meaner and more aggressive after this treatment, but not necessarily prettier.
3D Design BMW M6 Gran Coupe boasts a carbon fiber body kit which consists of a large front spoiler, a pair of side skirts, new and more pronounced rear diffuser, and a boot lid spoiler. The clear finish of the carbon parts does not have that big an effect on the black color of the body, but they would be more of a styling element on a white car.
3D Design has also fitted a set of large alloys finished in black, blue brake calipers, and some Alpina-style graphics down the sides of the car. These are little touches to interrupt the sheer blackness of the thing and stop people fainting from looking at it for more than five seconds.
The tuner also offers some interior upgrades such as special floor mats or sport pedal set, but leaves all the technical bits intact. That’s a good thing, because with 560 horsepower and one of the best sorted chassis among the current flock of M cars, the BMW M6 Gran Coupe is bang on perfect in terms of performance and handling.
