Mercedes specialist GAD Motors has come up with a tuning package for the magnificent C63 AMG Black Series which turns it into an absolute monster. If you think about it, the C63 is the tuned version of the C-Coupe, which is then tuned by AMG to become the C63 Black Series, and that car is now tuned by GAD.
That is three stages of tuning, and as you’d expect, the result is pretty astonishing. The Mercedes C63 Black Series by GAD packs an incredible 850 horsepower and an almost unbelievable 1,350 Nm of torque. We don’t know what sort of witchcraft they’ve done to that poor 6.2 liter M156 engine to get that kind of power.
To use that power more efficiently, though, GAD has fitted the C63 Black with a 4Matic system and a revised MCT transmission. The standard drivetrain simply couldn’t handle that enormous torque. So the signature tail-happiness of the Black is probably gone, but on the upside, it can now go from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.1 seconds, to 200 km/h in 8.8 seconds and to 300 km/h in 23.5 seconds.
Other major modifications include a set of KW adjustable coilovers and carbon ceramic brakes, because standard discs would be gobsmacked in the face of that devilish power. The cost of this tuning treatment is 180,250 Euros, excluding the base car!
