The official price and options list for the Pagani Huayra has been leaked to the web, and while the numbers on it are not very surprising, it still makes for a good read. You will see what comes as standard with the Huayra, and what costs extra. Pagani seems to have taken a leaf out of German car makers’ book here.

We’re not saying they are trying to rip off customers with the Pagani Huayra Options List, but some of the items on it sounds ridiculous. I mean there is a luggage set for 15,000 Euro, which is fair enough, as it is a designer item made from all sort of exotic material. But why parking sensors, which almost certainly use Chinese-made electronics, cost 1,500 Euro? Or why painting brake calipers cost 3,750 Euro? It’s just a bucket of paint, isn’t it?

The most staggering option you can order for the Huayra, of course, is the full carbon body work. The car is obviously made fiber carbon fiber, but if you pay Pagani 112,500 Euro, they won’t paint it for you. Actually, there is more to it than that, as for a carbon body to be displayable it needs special treatments. But does it really cost that much?

There is of course no answer to those questions, because people who can afford a Pagani Huayra in the first place are not bothered with the pricing. Pagani could ask a million Euros for painting the brake calipers, and as long as it looks cool, they wouldn’t care one bit. We are actually surprised there is a price list at Pagani.
