JE Design released the pictures ad details of their take on the new SEAT Leon FR. The good-looking Spanish hatchback with its ‘emotional’ design not only gets styling upgrades, the tuner has fiddled with the chassis and the powertrain as well. The FR is a very desirable car now.
Starting with the exterior, SEAT Leon FR by JE Design features a nice body kit consisting of a front spoiler, a pair of side skirts, and revised rear bumper, with a diffuser unit and quad 80mm tailpipes. There is an optional roof spoiler as well, but it doesn’t look very good. The body parts set you back 1,369 Euro, and the exhausts complete with mufflers run for 900 Euro. Bu they do give the car a sportier look and feel.
Perfecting the effect of the aforementioned bits, JE Design has also fitted the Leon FR with 237 Euro lowering springs that cut 30mm off the ride height. Those with fatter wallet can opt for a set of KW variant 3 coil overs that cost 1,750 Euros. The suspension system is complemented with a set of 18-inch Scorpio wheels with 225.40 tires. The whole set costs no more than 830 Euro.
The engine of choice for the SEAT Leon FR by JE Design is the 1.8 liter TSI unit. After a 1,999 Euro performance upgrade, it makes 215 horsepower and 300 Nm of torque, which translates into a 0 to 100 km/h time of 6.9 seconds and a top speed of 215 km/h.
