A Chinese website has published drawings of an insane looking Ferrari F12 which they claim they’ve acquired from the Chinese patent office. The car in the pictures looks way too flamboyant to be a production Ferrari, if we’re honest, but if these drawings are real, they could be the Ferrari F12 GTO or maybe the XX version.

There is also a slight chance, given the form of the bootlid with those two humps that resemble the roll bars of the 458 Spider, these drawings belong to an open-top version of the F12. In that case the roof arrangement should be like that off the 599 SA Aperta or the 575 SuperAmerica.

Another report says this Ferrari is a one-off version of the F12 called SP Arya, commissioned by someone properly rich, and, evidently, a descendant of the Aryan race.

Even if these drawings are fake, this F12 is looking pretty tasty, what with the new front and rear bumpers that feature fancy spoilers and diffusers, new aero bridge design, a crazy hood, canard on the pillars, and central exhausts. It looks utterly fabulous, but again, too fancy for a production Ferrari.

We will keep our ears to the ground and keep you posted as the story on this mysterious Ferrari develops. Stay tuned.
