Porsche went to enormous length to design and build this special Porsche 911 Facebook Edition to thank the 5 million people that liked the Facebook page. Now that they’ve made it, they are struggling to come up with a use for it. The most obvious choice is to stick it in promo videos.
So here’s one, showing the car drifting its wheels off at Porsche Experience Center in Silverstone, promoting Porsche’s new Christmas gift ideas, namely a drive around their Silverstone facility that costs 315 pounds. There is also a scale model version of the Porsche 911 Facebook Edition.
The Porsche 911 Facebook Edition is based on the Carrera 4S model. The visual features, including the Aqua Blue Metallic, the aero kit with special front and rear spoilers, and the 20-inch wheels, have been chosen by Porsche FB fans in an online poll.
