BMW M235i is the finest version of the recently-revealed 2-Series family. It has a powerful engine, a fantastic chassis, and lots of luxury and safety features. The only thing it lacks is a cabriolet version. But if it’s going to like anything like this rendering, they better not bother.

This, of course, is an honest effort to try and show us what the BMW M235i Cabrio would look like. The idea of having a drop-top version of a car like the M235i is very intriguing. But let’s hope BMW designer will do a better job with the roof!

As the replacement for the 1 Series coupe and cabrio models, the new 2 Series family gets its own looks and character and has become more sporty than before. And the sportiest of them all is the M235i version, powered by a 320 horsepower in-line six turbo engine. It is a properly hot little coupe, and we can only imagine it is going to be a lot hotter as a convertible.

That said, we all know that turning a car into a convertible means compromise on the driving dynamics. But if anyone can do it properly with minimum damage, it’s those genius BMW engineers.
