Tesla Motors has opened its first official retail center in the United Kingdom, and on this occasion announced the pricing and specs of the Model S that will be sold in the old country. Since their feud with Top Gear, Tesla was holding a grudge against everything British. But now they are entering the EV loving London full of hope.
Tesla’s London shop is located at Westfield Shopping Centre in White City, one of the capital’s most popular shopping destinations. As befits an advanced car maker like Tesla, the showroom features interactive displays and design studios enabling more and more people to design their own Model S.
Prices for the Tesla Model S in UK start from £49,900 for the 60kWh Model S after £5000 deduction from the UK Plug-in grant. The car is eligible for the incentive, but its inclusion is still in progress. The 85 kWh model will also be available in the UK, but prices for that one is yet to be revealed.
