A while ago Capristo, famous mostly for their awesome exhaust systems, announced the launch of a new engine cover they’ve designed for the Ferrari 458 Spider. Apparently, the fact that you can’t see the engine in the Spider version was driving them mad.
Now they released pictures of a special version of the car fitted with the clever system, which offers a nice view of the “engine room.” It’s not a full view, but you get to see bits of the engine as well as the Ferrari logo on top of it, which is cool.
Capristo Ferrari 458 Spider not only benefits from the glass hood, it also gets new flanks built into the hood on each sides of the glass pane that act as air boxes, helping the oil cooler and adding 25 Nm to the output of the V8 engine.
It’s all positive changes what Capristo is proposing for the 458. It’s up to you to decide if these changes are worth the 9,800 Euro asking price.
