Following the first teasers of their new Edizione GT kit for the Lamborghini Aventador, German tuner DMC has now released new renderings of the car in white. They call this the LP988 Edizione GT, and it is their most aggressive Aventador kit yet.

DMC first started messing around with the Aventador with the Molto Veloce kit. Whatever came after that was an evolution of the Veloce, and each time they made it a little more flamboyant, a little more showy. Not that that’s a bad thing. We are, after all, talking about a Lamborghini here. A Lambo is uncool if it’s not showy.

The inspiration for the DMC Aventador LP988 Edizione GT was the Laborghini Veneno,; a limited edition version of the Aventador that costs up to 4 million Euro and looks as if it was designed by a 4-year-old. It also appears to be aimed at 4-year-olds, or at last those with mental age of a 4-year-old.

The LP988 comes with a completely reworked front bumper with radical intakes and a large splitter, which together give the car the look of a sea monster straight out of some kind of weird Japanese comic. It is pretty normal down the sides, where all you get is a sober set of side skirts, but then at the back, it goes buts again. Here you get a rear diffuser with massive fins, a Veneno-inspired carbon insert where the tailpipes are located, and a ginormous rear spoiler. The whole thing looks really rather magnificent.

The LP988 Edizione GT kit is still in development so DMC is reluctant to release any technical details about it. But if that name, LP988, is any indication, this’ll be a 988 horsepower car. We call that a thousand!
