DMC Rolls-Royce Ghost: The Imperatore

Even though the Rolls-Royce Ghost is not really fit for the role of an emperor – it’s the cheapest Roller and based on a BMW – German tuner DMC believes that with a few minor tweaks it might be able to improve its status; a ‘fake it till you make it’ kind of thing. The result of those tweaks is what you see here in these pictures.

Normally, no car fan like to see a Rolls-Royce model fiddled with. These are not the kind of cars you mess around with. But exactly because the Ghost is not exactly a member of the “Royalty” it is OK to try and improve it. And you have to admit, what this DMC Rolls-Royce Ghost is looking pretty sharp.

The car benefits from a revised front fascia, new side skirts, a rear diffuser and a trunk spoiler. All the parts – apart from the trunk spoiler maybe – have a subtle design that doesn’t really interfere with the Ghost’s design. That rear spoiler, though, is a bit too much if we’re honest.

Along with the body kit, DMC also offers a set of 22-inch diamond forged wheels in black which go really well with the exterior color of the car and the tinted windows. They also offer a power upgrade package including revised ECU software and a high-performance exhaust system for the BMW V12 engine. Together they result in a 70PS 80Nm gain, which gives the car a 0 to 100 time of 4.5 seconds and top speed of 295 km/h.
