Following the first teaser, German tuner Startech released further pictures and details of their Range Rover Sport upgrade kit as the car goes on display at the Essen Motor Show. This is not nip and tuck. What Startech has planned for the RR Sport is nothing short of a proper facelift.

Startech Range Rover Sport comes with totally redesigned front and rear bumpers, plus revised sills and fenders. At the front, you get a unique design with two large air intakes at each side, connected by a narrow grille and complemented with a nicely designed spoiler. The bumper is also designed to work with the flared front wings, which in turn link up with the side skirts and the buffed-up rear fenders to give the Sport a more muscular look.

So far so good then. At the back though, things get a bit controversial. Startech Range Rover Sport kit here features a weird and complicated rear-end design that appears to be modeled on a space ship or something, with a diffuser at the middle, and vertical tailpipe on the sides. It is rather a unique look, but may not look appealing to some. Red accenting on the grilles and 22-icnh wheels wrap up the exterior work.

Other bits of the upgrade package include a carbon fiber and red stitching interior treatment, as well as illuminated door sills, plus a light power upgrade for the 3.0 liter TDV6 turbodiesel engine that boosts the power to 323 hp with 680 Nm of torque. No word on the pricing yet.
