Audi announced the pricing and specs of its new A3 Sedan ahead of its market launch in America. The neat and sober-looking sedan – polite words for ‘boring’ – starts from $29,900 for the 1.8 liter TFSI mode, and goes up to $32,900 for the 2.0 liter.
Those are the only available engines for the 2015 Audi A3 Sedan in America. But the 2.0 liter does come with standard quattro all-wheel drive, complementing the performance of its 6-speed S tronic transmission.
As for the standard equipment, Audi A3 Sedan comes with the usual safety and convenience features, plus leather seating, panoramic roof, bi-xenon headlights, ultra-thin retractable MMI display, available Audi drive select, 4G LTE connectivity and Bang & Olufsen audio.
With German cars, it is usually the options list that makes things scary, and the A3 is no exception. There is a Premium plus available which adds exclusive 18″ 10-spoke-design Audi wheels, an aluminum interior package, and keyless entry for an additional $2,900. There is also a Prestige package which, for a whopping $8,800, offers S Line exterior kit, Driver Assistance package, Bang & Olufsen Sound System, Audi MMI navigation plus, Audi Connect, Convenience package and full LED headlights.
