G-Power, the German tuner with a huge obsession with horsepower and top speed, unveiled a new version of their hurricane power package for the BMW M3. The new version, called the 337, breaks G-Power’s own record for the fastest BMW M3 in the world.
As the name G-Power Hurricane 337 clearly suggests, this M3 is capable of achieving a top speed of 337 km/h, tested and verified at Nardo test track in Italy. It is only 4 km/h faster than the record set by the previous G-Power M3 tested two years ago, but it’s a new record nonetheless. A lot of work has gone into achieving every one of those kilometer an hours.
The meat of the G-Power Hurricane 337 package is the V8 SK II CS powertrain. It starts out as a normal 4.0 liter BMW M3 V8 engine, onto which G-Power installs an ASA T1-523 radial supercharger, High-Flow air intake including large racing air filter, a large volumetric intercooler system, and a titanium exhaust system.
The result of these heavy modifications is 615 hp and 595 Nm of torque. To harness that power, G-Power Hurricane 337 comes equipped with G3M CLUBSPOT coilover suspension, the G-POWER breaking system featuring huge 396 mm respectively 380 mm break discs for front and rear axle, and 20-inch Silverstone diamond wheels with Michelin Pilot Sport tires.
