The Swedish super car maker Koenigsegg has reportedly confirmed the debut of its long-awaited hyper car, the One:1, at this year’s Geneva Motor Show. Boasting a power-to-weight ratio of one to one, the new Koenigsegg is said to be a serious threat to the Bugatti Veyron SS’ crown as the fastest production car in the world.

Koenigsegg One:1 is a real engineering marvel. It is the ultimate in super car technology, the best that can be achieved with the latest available technologies. It weighs 1,400 kg and has an output of 1,400 horsepower, which gives it the characteristic 1:1 power-to-weight ratio.

The engineers have gone to enormous length to achieve this, accounting even for the amount of the fluids in the engine and the weight of the driver. One would imagine Koenigsegg should refuse selling the car to fat people because they will ruin all these hard work with their weight!

Koenigsegg One:1 will set new records for the fastest accelerating car 200, 300, and 400 km/h, but the we are more keen to know about its top speed and whether or not it can beat the Veryon.

They will build only six examples of the Koenigsegg One:1, and they’ve all reportedly been sold already.
