Audi is not the first name that springs to mind when you think about mad custom treatment and exciting special editions. But as it turned out all they needed was some encouragement from someone like Jon Olsson. He brought out a side of Audi we didn’t even know existed before.

This is the Audi A4 Avant Jon Olsson Camo Edition; a unique version of the car featuring a white, grey and black military camouflage paint job. And Audi is going to sell it to the public. The car was inspired by skier Jon Olsson’s camo’d RS6, but for some reason Audi thought this treatment would sell better on the A4 Avant.

Olsson is more famous for his extravagant taste in customizing exotic cars than for his talent as an athlete. Apart from the paint work, which must be a wrap, A4 Olsson Camo edition features a designer roof box for your skies, sport suspension – which given the car’s intended role as a ski companion, seems a bit pointless – sport seats and steering. The engine is less glamorous, as it’s a 2.0 liter diesel pumping out only 170 horsepower.

Audi A4 Avant Jon Olsson Camo Edition is a hugely appealing proposition. But there are a couple of problems with getting one. First, it is limited to just 50 units, and secondly, it is only available in Sweden.
