Swedish hyper car maker Koenigsegg official confirmed the launch of the most extreme version of the Agera at the upcoming Geneva Motor Show. They also released a new teaser picture, revealing the rear-end of the car which features a huge wing.
Koenigsegg One:1 is going to need that rear wing, because it is one of the quickest, most powerful cars ever made. The name One:1 refers to the car’s astonishing 1 to 1 power-to-weight ratio, and since it weighs 1,400 kilograms, it must have 1,400 horsepower.
That is 200 more than the fastest road-car in the world, Bugatti Veyron SS. What’s amazing, and frankly baffling, is the fact the Koenigsegg has managed to extract this power from a V8 engine, while the Bugga rocks a W16 quad-turbo unit.
According to the car maker, Koenigsegg One:1 will set new records for 0 to 200, 300, and 400 km/h sprints, with the latter said to be done in under 20 seconds, which is just insane. Seeing as Koenigsegg One:1 is a two-wheel-drive car and not as aerodynamically-clever as the Veyron, it probably won’t be able to break the top speed record of the French/German car.
