Volvo announced a while ago that they are going to give us a glimpse into the company’s plans for the future through three unique concept cars. The first one was a luxury Coupe unveiled at IAA 2013, and the second a very sporty SUV revealed earlier this year at the NAIAS 2014.

Now the Swedish car maker announced they will wrap things up with the debut of a third and final concept at this year’s Geneva Motor Show. As usual, they didn’t reveal many details on the car, only that it is built – like the other two – on Volvo’s brand new chassis, titled Scalable Product Architecture (SPA), and is powered by its new Drive-E Powertrain.

Seeing as we’ve already seen a coupe and a SUV, chances are the new Volvo concept is a mid-size sedan. Volvo, after all, wanted to show us the way of the future, and these three body styles can wide variety of different models. The new SPA modular platform is what makes all this possible. What this means is that all new Volvos are basically the same car underneath, but each with their own unique design.
