Citroen, evidently, realized not a lot of people are going to be interested in their new C4 Cactus, which has Airbumps on its body. They have reportedly priced the car from just 13,950 Euros which is not only very cheap for a crossover, but also nearly 5 grand less than the normal C4 hatchback!

Citroen C4 Cactus is of course based on the hatchback model, but it is jacked-up and features a funky design, which although looks very cool, may not appeal to everybody. The car introduces the Airbumps, which are like small airbags on the body and bumpers, acting as not just as a styling element, but also a safety feature, as they can reduce the impact of the accident by cushioning the blow.

Citroen is also going to offer attracting lease and finance deals for the C4 Cactus, in the hope to make it an appealing prospect. In France, you will be able to lease a Cactus for 36 months at a monthly rate of 199 Euros, or opt for a “pay-per-use” contract, in which case you will pay based on the kilometers you drive every month.

If you think you can get over the weird styling of the Citroen C4 Cactus, it is a very good car. What’s more, with the contracts they are offering you can give it a try for a few months and if you didn’t like it, just send it back.
