American tuner Vorsteiner released the pictures of a new Mercedes SL63 AMG they’ve just finished modifying. The highlight of this treatment is a set of Vorsteiner Flow Forged V-FF 101 in Matte Black, which accentuates the dynamic lines of SL’s exterior, and goes really well with the exclusive paint job.
The V-FF 101 wheels on the Vorsteiner Mercedes SL63 AMG feature a double staggered setup with 19 x 8.5 in the front and 20 x 11 in the rear, and are wrapped with Michelin Pilot Supersport tires in size 255/35ZR19 at the front and 305/25ZR20 at the back. The five double-spoke design of the rims display the car’s red brake calipers and massive brake discs, making a styling feature out of them.
While Vorsteiner is indeed working on other upgrade programs for the super sport convertible car, there really isn’t much point in it, seeing as the standard SL63 features a 560 horsepower 5.5 liter bi-turbo V8 engine with up to 800 nm of torque.
The car goes from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in just over 4 seconds, and if you fit the AMG Performance pack which raises the top speed limit, you can do 300 km/h (186 mph). The SL63 is a fully-loaded convertible with all the luxury toys you can expect from a Mercedes-Benz. But it’s not as heavy as you might think, as it features a new aluminum construction. It is pretty much perfect in every way. If only it looked a bit better…
