American tuner Vorsteiner has started a new project based on the Mercedes G63 AMG. The work is just beginning on the mighty Gelandewagen, but they decided to release a few pictures of the car wearing its new shoes to wet our appetite. Later on they will also make a body kit for the car.

Vorsteiner Mercedes G63 AMG is set to be fitted with a carbon fiber front spoiler and also a carbon spoiler at the back. In fairness, there is only so much you can do with the G63’s boxy styling. At this stage, the car has only received a new set of wheels, but already it’s looking rather spectacular.

The wheels on Vorsteiner Mercedes G63 AMG are the tuner’s own Sport Race Forged VSR-163 model in size 22×12-inch all around. They are finished in a matte brushed shadow which contrasts with complements the exterior finish and makes the red brake calipers pop.

As a reminder, Mercedes G63 AMG is powered by a 536 horsepower 5.5 liter biturbo V8 engine. Vorsteiner has not announced any performance upgrade for it, mainly because they are styling specialists and care little about speed and power.
