BMW is keeping the M4 pretty busy with official assignments. After securing a safety car gig for it at MotoGP championship for the entire season, it has now been assigned as the official 2014 DTM safety car. BMW M4 DTM Safety Car is fully kitted-out with M Performance Parts.
These parts are factory-made extras which allow customers to personalize their vehicle and further improve its aesthetics and performance. The telltale signs of this treatment on the BMW M4 DTM Safety Car include the carbon fiber aero kit consisting of the front splitter, side skirts, rear diffuser, and rear spoiler.
What’s more, the car gets carbon mirror caps, blacked-out grilles, and carbon fiber interior trim. The safety car, of course, is also fitted with a lights bar, communication system, and official stickers.
While the engine remains intact in the BMW M4 DTM Safety Car and the normal M Performance M4s, the performance can be enhanced by ordering the titanium exhaust system, and KW coilover suspension. They will help you utilize the 40 horsepower output of that in-line six turbo engine to go faster.
