One of the perks of being a Works driver for German car companies is that during your time with them you will be treated to a number of special editions named after you. If you are lucky, you may even get a one-off, like what DMT driver Marco Wittmann has just received from BMW Individual.
They have made a bespoke BMW M6 Individual for Wittmann, featuring a unique “Fire Orange” paint job and special exterior and interior appointments that make the car utterly unique.
The paint job on this car is complemented with gloss black mirror caps, kidney grilles, and window surrounds, and of course, the carbon fiber roof. The same theme continues inside, where black leather upholstery is garnished with orange stitching, while orange accents and trim pieces adorn the dashboard. The steering wheel meanwhile gets a full Alcantara wrap.
Wittmann’s BMW M6 Individual does not have any additional performance upgrades over the standard M6 – or if it has, BMW didn’t mention it. Not that he would want anything more than 560 horsepower. Contrary to popular belief, racing drivers prefer their daily drivers to be soft and cozy. They work with ferocious speed machines all day. They don’t need that on the way home.
