When it comes to tuning Mercedes-Benz cars, few brands carry as much weight as Brabus. With that in mind, the guys from Inspired Auto Sport got in touch with the German tuner and asked them to help tuning a Mercedes SL550.

IAS’ Brabus Mercedes SL550 does not get much in terms of exterior modifications, only a set of CEC C882 20-inch wheels. But there is one mechanical mod that affects the styling as well, and that is Brabus lowering springs that drop the car and slam it on those sizable wheels.

Brabus of course is all about performance, and so this SL550 gets their bespoke engine management control unit with modified software that unlocks new levels performance from its turbocharged V8. To cope, they have also fitted the car with Brabus high-performance intercooler.

The CEC wheels on this Brabus Mercedes SL550 measure 20×9 inch front and 20×11 inch rear and finished in machine black.
