The amazing Lamborghini Egoista one-off is becoming a permanent part of the Italian car maker’s museum. The car with the one of a kind design that makes it absolutely unique was designed last year as to mark the brand’s 50th anniversary.

Lamborghini has habit of selling replicas of their most insane concepts to people who can come up with an insane amount of money. But with the Egoista that is not the case. Lamborghini Egoista is a gift from the company to itself. The name Egoista – Italian for “Selfish” – then, is quite apt.

Designed by Walter De Silva, whose name is now immortal thanks to this car, says the Egoista is inspired by the Apache attack helicopter, notwithstanding the fact that it is grey and orange, and the real Apache is more like green and black. Underneath that crazy body, the Egoista is 600-hp Gallardo.

Talking about his creation, Da Silva explains: “”This is a car made for one person only, to allow them to have fun and express their personality to the maximum. It is designed purely for hyper-sophisticated people who want only the most extreme and special things in the world. It represents hedonism taken to the extreme, it is a car without compromises, in a word: egoista (selfish).”
