It is always a challenge when you decide to improve a super sport car like the Mercedes Black Series, because they come out of the factory almost perfect in every way. But a little extra power has never hurt anybody, so MCCHIP-DKR decided to give the SLS just that, and nothing more.

MCCHIP-DKR Mercedes SLS Black Series power kit consists of only a re-programmed ECU software. This is what MCCHIP does, and the SLS map is probably the best they’ve ever done. It results in an increase of 32 horsepower which is a huge gain for a few lines of codes.

Now with 654 hp and 649 Newton meters of max torque at the disposal of your right foot, the SLS Black should feel a bit faster and livelier than the standard model. What’s more, MCCHIP claims their map enhances the fuel efficiency of the engine as well. Not that you will notice it, of course, because we’re talking about massive V8 engine with two turbochargers.

MCCHIP-DKR Mercedes SLS Black Series with the 654 horsepower kit is only the stage 1 of a series of upgrades they are working on. It costs 3,199 Euros and can be installed within a day.
