Over the past few months Carlsson has been working on a thorough tuning package for the 2014 Mercedes E-Class facelift, covering almost all the bases to improve the driving experience of the German executive saloon. It is now ready, and in its there is something for every model in the range.
On the styling front, Mercedes E-Class by Carlsson steers clear of showy body kits and is content with only a few stylish additions including a subtle front spoiler, new side skirts, and an RS rear diffuser.
There is a wide range of wheels to choose from, as well as sport exhaust systems and adjustable suspension kits with lowering up to 30mm. Cars with Airmatic suspension system get a special C-tronic module for this purpose.
Engine-wise, Mercedes E-Class by Carlsson is available as 200 CGI tuned from 135 kW/184 hp to 155 kW/211 hp; 250 CGI from 150 kW/204 hp to 170 kW/231hp; E350 CDI Bluetec from 195 kW/256 hp to 228 kW/310 hp; E400 from 245 kW/333 hp to 283 kW/385 hp; and E500 from 300 kW/408 hp to 385 kW/523 hp.
As for the interior, Calrsson offers a complete re-trim in the finest leather and Alcantara, with wood, carbon-fiber or aluminum inlays, plus illuminated sill plates, aluminum pedals and footrest, floor mats and alloy door lock pins.
