Ford has already received a ton of orders for the 2015 Ford Mustang, and not just from America either. The Europeans appear to be especially intrigued by this car. Now Ford thought they should at least launch a configurator for the car to make the choosing the right specs easier for the customers.

So they came up with this rather thorough 2015 Ford Mustang online configurator that allows you to spec-up every last detail of the car and view the price of every option and available accessory. The new Mustang is offered currently as Fastback and Convertible. Later on they will introduce high-performance Shelby and probably a Boss variant as well.

In other Mustang news, turns out the news of the 2015 model gaining up to 300 lbs was a bit exaggerated. The new model is indeed heavier than the previous generation, but only about 90 pounds, according to the official order guide. Most of the added weight is due to multi-link rear suspension which replaced the ancient live rear axle in the Mustang. We’d trade weight for that all day.
