BMW Abu Dhabi seems to be place that all M Performance Bimmers end up these days. They even have an M Performance version of the BMW 3 Series GT. Now, the GT is widely acknowledged as the ugliest car BMW currently makes. So this is a good opportunity to see if the M kit really does make a difference.
The BMW 3 Series GT M Performance is finished in white and garnished with BMW M racing colors, found on the front grille, the edge of the tailgate, and on the side skirts.
Gloss black is large part of the M Performance kit’s appeal, and you find that adorning the kidney grilles, the mirror caps, and the roof, as well as the aero parts. The aero parts are the meat of the BMW 3 Series GT M Performance package, and include a chin spoiler at the front, side skirts, and an M rear bumper with twin tailpipes.
So there you go, an M’d up 3 Series GT. The kit does improve the looks of the car at the front and rear, but the real issue with the GT is its weird profile that makes the whole thing look like a hunchback. No amount of M goodies can cure that.
