We knew that tuner and car maker Dartz Motorz were kind of crazy, but we had no idea how crazy. That was until we saw the Dartz Mercedes G63 6×6 Red Russian edition they have planned. Yep, apparently they miss the “red” old days of communism and have built this car to commemorate it. Didn’t know tuning could be political, but here we are.
Dartz Mercedes G63 6×6 Red Russian is actually a version of the Drive Hard 6×6 they revealed a while ago, wrapped in special liveries. That car is a multi-million dollar version of the 6×6 powered by a 1000 horsepower engine and fully bulletproof. It is in fact modeled on a military vehicle.
The pictures they have released of the car reveal its motto as “when everything is not enough”, and are accompanied by a caricature of the Russian president Vladimir Putin in which he is depicted as a total badass. That helps you understand the “not enough” message, especially if you are Ukrainian.
Not sure if Putin is going to like this creation, but in any case, his security team may advise against it. The 6×6 is, after all, German. Half way through the affair it may turn against the Russians! Further details on the Red Russian 6×6 are yet to be released.
