These are the first pictures of the 2015 BMW X6 facelift leaked to the web ahead of its official debut. As expected, the new X6 inherits the design cues of the X5 and integrate them into its iconic Sport Activity Coupe body shape.

So you get a pair of ginormous headlights at the front combined with a humongous grille. The front bumper appears to have a sportier design, but then again these leaked pictures may showcase an M sport version or something. Things are a bit less massive around the back of the car, where you find a sleeker design than what went before and new 3D-looking taillights.

The sloping roof line of the X6 continues to exist in the new model and if anything, it appears to have gotten steeper than before. That almost certainly means that BMW hasn’t remedied the crappy rear headroom situation. That has always been one of the biggest drawbacks of the X6, because you get a car the size of a truck that can barely accommodate two adults in the back.

Official pictures along with technical specs of 2015 BMW X6 are expected to be released soon, so stay tuned.
