The E55 AMG is one of the first properly-tuned super saloons Mercedes and AMG made together, and what kickstarted a whole range of AMG Mercs that continues to amaze us to this day. It’s an iconic piece of kit, this car, and so totally worthy of a full-on treatment by the interior specialist Vilner.
Vilner has come up with a complete package for the Mercedes E55 AMG, modifying and improving every single inside the cabin. They wrapped the seats, the dash, door panels, and steering wheel in brown leather with light stitching, and accent it with dark brown suede. The same material is used to cover the headliner.
The console and panels meanwhile are covered with carbon fiber tinted in brown and the stock sound system is replaced with a multimedia screen. On the outside the car remains pretty much standard, apart new wheels, tailpipes, and smoked lights.
This particular Mercedes E55 AMG is a rare 2001 4Matic model. It’s a future classic in the making.
