Nissan released a dark teaser shot of their Vision Gran Turismo concept which they have designed exclusively for the Gran Turismo 6 video game. All car makers are doing this these days, and Nissan felt they were sort of left behind.

That wouldn’t be good for their image, especially as Nissan has a driver academy that finds the best talents in the world of video gaming and trains them as real drivers. They needed a Gran Turismo concept quickly, so a crack team of designers was scrambled and this is what they have come up with.

Details of Nissan Vision Gran Turismo are yet to be revealed, but from what we can see in the picture, the car borrows a lot of its styling cues from contemporary Nissan concept cars. The main highlights, of course, include the V-shaped front grille which is Nissan’s corporate look, and the narrow LED headlights that give the car a very futuristic look.
