Koenigsegg Agera R is indeed one of the fastest and most powerful super cars in the world. It holds many speed and acceleration records. But even something like the Agera cannot do anything but bow in respect when it comes face to face with the technological brilliance of Porsche 918.

The Agera uses the old school approach to performance, which is huge displacement and massive turbos. Porsche 918, on the other hand, uses sophisticated electric motors and clever software to deliver the best performance using the least energy.

Oh yes, there is a McLaren 650S in this drag race too. But nobody really expected it to be a match for the big boys:

One might argue that the Koenigsegg suffered from driver error and a bad launch. But the truth is the 918 opens such a lead that it wouldn’t matter anyway. The McLaren also shows a lot of guts and keeps up with the giants in an honorable manner. That too is down to the advanced computers the British car possesses.
