BMW already makes a track-only version of the M235i and it’s brilliant. But you can’t drive that car on the road. If what you want is a car that you can drive to the race track, be competitive, and then drive back home again, then you need to hear about Tuningwerk’s offer.

What they are proposing is a track-ready version of the M235i which has similar specs to BMW’s track car, but is street-legal and doesn’t cost an arm and a leg. Tuningwerk BMW M235i RS comes with a bespoke aerokit, modified interior, and a serious power upgrade.

The body has received a large front splitter, a new rear diffuser and an aerodynamic rear wing, plus 18-inch lightweight wheels with high-performance tires. The cooling system is also upgraded to cope with the engine working overtime.

Tuningwerk BMW M235i RS comes with a deeply modified straight-six turbocharged engine featuring new software, intakes, an aluminum oil pan and a custom exhaust system. It now makes 444 horsepower and 600 nm of torque, which means you can hit 100 km/h from rest in 4.3 seconds.

The tuner also offers interior modifications such as Recaro seats, spot steering wheel, roll cage and racing harness. Total cost of a M235i RS is 65,000 Euro.
