Future Classic? Brabus Mercedes EV12 W211

BRABUS Classic E V12S 0 600x332 at Future Classic? Brabus Mercedes EV12 W211

It is too soon to count the W211 generation of the Mercedes E-Class as a future classic. But if the legendary 190E is any indication, it is only a matter of time. Now Brabus reckons you can speed up this process with their EV12 package which turns the E-Class into something truly astonishing.

On the surface, Brabus Mercedes EV12 looks like any old E-Class, driven by a mid-level executive with average salary and a house in the suburbs. Granted, it has a set of nice wheels and some aero parts hanging off it, but to an uninterested eye, it looks like any other E-Class.

It is the same story inside, where you the only difference between this and a run of the mill E-Class is some carbon on the consoles and Alcantara on the doors. Again, unless you are a full-on car nut you won’t look at it twice.

It is when you open the bonnet that it all becomes clear. There lies the reason Brabus Mercedes EV12 is a classic. There, instead of a diesel or a small four-banger, you find Brabus’ 6.3S bi-turbo V12 engine. As we know from other Brabus’ cars, this engine can be tuned at 650, 730 and, in its most powerful setting, 850 horsepower. That power can turn anything into a future classic!
