German chip tuning expert Mcchip-DKR is on a roll these days expanding the scope of their work beyond electronics. Yesterday we told you about their 560-hp Range rover Sport, now let’s check out another high-powered project they recently finished, the Mercedes C63 AMG mc8xx.
Mercedes C63 AMG is powered by the 6.2 liter M156 engine, which is arguably the finest naturally-aspirated engine ever. It makes 475 horsepower and 600 Nm of torque in its standard guise, and makes a racket that tingles a man’s tingly bits.
What Mcchip-DKR does to this engine is install a meaty compressor (supercharger) complete with bigger oil cooler, XXL water cooler, and bigger water pump. Naturally, they also remap the ECU as well. The result of these modifications is a colossal 830 horsepower.
Now, even with the 475 standard horsepower the C63 is known to be an unruly animal, so we can only imagine what kind of monster it becomes with 830. To at least try to make car behave itself, Mcchip has fitted a Drexler differential lock which promises greater traction.
The tuner has also fitted this Mercedes C63 AMG with a body kit borrowed from its Black Series Coupe sibling consisting of aggressive bumpers and carbon fiber aero parts. KW Clubsport suspension and a set of 19-inch OZ wheels are also provided.
